Band-aid 01:27
Stuck on you Like band-aid residue Would you come through and beat me to it And would you come through I adore you

There's something seeping in There's something creeping out There's something creeping in There's something seeping out And I don't know how If it wants in or out And I don't know who you are I don't know how If it wants in or out And don't know who I am But there's something seeping in There's something creeping out There's something creeping in There's something seeping out

Purple Soul 02:36
Where do you go Throughout the show Where do you hide Oh, my stars! Where does it show Persimmons pushing through the snow Don't ya know It's blissful This is where you go Can't ask for why, can't pray for more Everybody knows You'll learn to show The pieces of your dark You'll learn There's nothing you can't embark upon You'll learn There's nothing more suited than turns and rounds Nothing more suited than turns and rounds Nothing more suited than turns and rounds There's nothing more suited... When will you know When not to go Would you take it all up in Your soul

Figures 02:52
I keep seein' figures in the corners of my eyes It's no surprise, that when I turn to look Already they've taken to the skies I keep seein' figures in the corners of my eyes It's no surprise, that when I turn to look Already they've taken new disguises New disguises Let's discuss it, new disguises When I see the figures in the corners of my eyes I can't believe how fast they go And then they're gone It makes staying in one place far too easy for themselves But then I go, and then I go, and then I'm gone Now I'm in a new place and they never really go And they show me to the dark and then the light They follow They follow They follow

We left before it could even get warm Everyone else had come to terms With running away Yet here you stay Shadow people sitting in the garden Waiting for sounds Hear them around you Waiting around Enveloping cloud view Of all of the people You've seen in a dark room No one can be you No one can see Of all of the people You've been in a day dream I'm going to catch you I'm going to sea Smells like fire and oil 42? 42?

about

This is an album culminating the past couple years of my life. I wrote most of the songs on this release during the summer of 2018, while house-sitting for 6 weeks. This house has a beautiful garden and, at the time, a lovely orange cat named Percy. Rest in peace, Purrrrrcy.

The album is a practice of patience, letting the idealized vision of my music go for what it becomes, and not stressing too much about what comes out of me creatively. I wanted to create a collection of audio notes from my phone, lyrics saved in notes, and my experimentation with home recording and production.

22 nesting dolls, one self within the next within the next as I get older, creating endlessly.
